Solutions · Complete SMT lines
Rent a complete SMT line
Plan printing, placement, reflow, inspection and board handling as one configuration. Your products, volumes and site determine the equipment and the installation, training and support you need.

What a line includes
This process diagram shows a configuration with paste and optical inspection. Feeders, software and handling interfaces are selected alongside the machines.
01
Board loader
Boards enter the line through the selected handling system.
02
Screen printing
Solder paste is applied before component placement.
03
SPI
Solder-paste inspection checks the printed paste.
04
Pick & place
Placement machines and feeders match the component mix and target output.
05
Reflow
A controlled thermal profile solders the assembled boards.
06
AOI
Optical inspection checks the assembled boards.
07
Board unloader
Boards leave the line through the selected unloading system.
When a complete line makes sense
Start in-house assembly
Define the equipment, layout and start-up plan for bringing PCBA production in-house.
High mix & NPI
Plan changeovers and feeder arrangements for prototypes, new products and smaller series.
Series production & expansion
Size placement, inspection and handling together for your output and expected product mix.
High-volume line: example configuration
An itemised example with three placement machines. It illustrates equipment selection; your proposal defines the supplied configuration and delivery plan.
- Board handling
- SMT House: magazine loader, destacker, conveyors, inspection workstations and NG/OK unloader.
- Screen printer
- Panasonic GLP
- SPI
- Koh Young 8030-2 L · 3D SPI
- Pick & place
- 3 × Panasonic NPM-Series, with options and software
- Feeders
- 275 tape feeders, mixed types
- Reflow
- HT Electronics HTR-1203
- AOI
- Koh Young Zenith Alpha · 3D AOI
How we size a line
Use these inputs to plan machine selection and line integration.
Products & changeovers
PCB types, variants, component mix and changeover frequency.
Production volume
Required output per shift, expected growth and capacity already installed.
Boards & components
Board dimensions and thickness, smallest and largest components, packaging and feeder positions.
Site & integration
Layout, utilities, existing machines, handling interfaces and MES or traceability requirements.
From requirement to production
Agree responsibilities, acceptance and training with the equipment suppliers before implementation.
01
Requirement
Products, volumes, site and existing equipment.
02
Configuration & proposal
Equipment, financing and separate costs.

Delivery & installation
Agree site preparation, shipment, setup and commissioning with the suppliers. Define responsibilities, acceptance checks and handover before work starts.
04
Training & start-up
Plan hands-on operator and process training for the installed line. Agree participants, operation and troubleshooting topics, timing and separate costs in the proposal.

Line questions
Is the example the line I will receive?
The example is a starting point for discussion. Equipment selection, options, output requirements and delivery are agreed for your project.
Can existing machines be retained?
Discuss the machines you want to keep and their handling, software and process interfaces. Individual equipment can also be selected for targeted additions.
Customer story · DEIF, Denmark
From PCBA insourcing to a new capacity level with Stop & Swap.
DEIF brought PCBA production in-house and needed a partner for equipment selection, installation and start-up. As production grew, Stop & Swap replaced the original placement machines with a suitable new setup.
